American Culture

Firstly, something to say about cultures it's that USA it's like the spot where you can find Indians, Mexicans, Germans and normally Chinese people. I went to Santa Barbara, California. In that city, there was a lot of Mexicans, but in San Francisco (326 miles approx. from Santa Barbara) were more Chinese. In the time I was at USA I learned a lot about Mexicans, Chinese and Americans. From the Mexicans I learned things as, why it's important to celebrate de "Dia de los muertos" and why they put food as an offer. About the Chinese culture, i just learned by watching because the Chinese teen was kind of shy because his accent, an important thing I learned was that their parents were very strict,(it's important to know, that all this people I'm talking about are teens and I found them a "Santa Barbara Boys & Girls club") I knew it because at the main door of the club, if he missed one thing as a dollar, they complain in front of everyone.
About the American culture, i just learned that almost all of the Americans are too busy, I checked this in my family, normally if you have studies you don't need more than one job but if you doesn't have studies, probably you should have two or more than two jobs, this to live "normally". In the case of my family, my aunt works ten hours per day and five days per week, then my cousin works eleven hours per day and six days per week. She does not use her Saturday to rest, she uses it to advance her work and then rest a whole week.
Something i appreciated from the culture, were the museums. I went to an art museum. Inside of the museum you can learned about abstract paint, American paint and the have a tour which teaches you about American culture by the time. For an example the sport, in California they like to surf and they also like the football more than the soccer. But in other place as New jersey, they prefer the Baseball than the soccer or the football. Finally, something interesting, were the special days, for an example, seven eleven it's a small shop as an "olimpica" but in the 11 of July or the 7 of November, they give away Slurpees. Another example its Carl´s Jr, in their burger day, if you buy a burger you can get a second for 1 dollar.
